PPF interference with sensors?

Has anyone that had their front wrapped (PPF), experienced any interference with the Radar and/or Ultrasonic sensors?

Good, thank you...
I've been reading up on the new Owners Manual and it said it could be affected...

No issues here that I can tell. I only have it on the front going 1/4 of the way back.

Any compitant/decent PPF installer should cut out the PPF where the sensors etc are. The company I use uses pre cut templates and all the sensor holes are pre cut out.

Have a read of this recent topic...

I just left the shop that will do my wrap. He was doing another BMW and showed me the holes cut out for all the sensors…

It will be a XPEL Pre-cut. I checked the XPEL site, and it has the 2024 X5 50e listed already…

No issues at all.

My Ultrasonic sensors are covered in ppf but Radars do not. Most detailers won't even cover that small holes for radars.

But I've seen installers covering radar holes and it worked just fine.

I installed full PPF shortly after I took delivery and I haven't seen any issues so far. But I've only had my X5 just under 4 months.
