I’m thinking of trying this on my merino ivory white leather seats in the new X5. But I’m nervous that the product could cause coloration issues? Is this product generally safe on white leather?

I have Honey Leather cleaner but have not used it on my merino leather. I have used it on a couple of mid-century-modern leather chairs
Maybe a few others may be able to chime in, but I use ColourLock for my Tartufo merino leather.

I would suggest using leather shield in conjunction with leather protector, some of the best out there.

Not sure if you can get it everywhere, but i have good experiences wit Gliptone, keeps the mat colour and gives a nice leather smell

I swear by this stuff. It take the jean coloration away from any seat, even very light seats. I've used several times on my wife's Range Rover and am confident enough that I ordered the Ivory White on my X5 M60. Give it a try!
