Hi all,

I’m looking for an X5 M5.0 to lease. There’s a 2020 remaining vehicle on a BMW dealership that I came across but don’t know if the deal is solid. Dealer wants to get rid of it for new inventory.

36mo/10k year
95,5k msrp
1,100 with about 2,675 upfront which includes the first month, plates, etc.

Looks high to me but without all of the details it is impossible to judge. Have them give you the MF, RV, dealer discount, applicable incentives, fees, tax rate, etc.

Use this calculator to input all the numbers they gave you. After inputting all the number, you can share the link here.

We can tell if it's bad, ok or good deal.

Sounds a little high for 10K miles and a 2020, but NY also doesn't allow MSDs. However, if they want to move it, they can cut deeper.

Hi Jason, I'm fairly new to this great forum. Could you tell me from where you get the program rates info please?

I'm planning to use these numbers as my guideline for negotiations this weekend. I just want to make sure I can look at a sales manager in the eyes and know if he's lying to me when I ask him for residual values, money factors, etc. lol

Do you know what is the base money factor? I think I read somewhere that it's .00082 which would equal to just under 1.99%. I don't know which forum I found that info. Does money factor change based on the model you buy?

Also, have you noticed on the BMW website the "Road Home Sales Event" money available towards an X5? https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...les-event.html

Thank you for your help!!!

The best place to get information related to MF, RV and incentives is the Edmunds forum. Since some amounts vary by region they can give you what is applicable in your area.

Thank you! I went to the Edmunds Forum and go the answers. There's barely any lease incentives for X5! Ugh

Hey everyone,

Looking for a little insight. I was offered 6% off msrp prior to incentives for building an X5 xdrive40i. I believe the incentives are 2,500 road home sales event, 1,000 for loyalty and then I have the BMW CCA rebate. Am I missing any incentives? How realistic is it to get the dealer to 8-10% off msrp?

I would think in your area you should be able to get in the 8-10% range given what others have done but you never know. I would counter their offer with 9% and see how things shake out. Good luck and let us know how things go.

I have a contact close to you that would offer 10% off before incentives. PM me.

Final Numbers:
MSRP: $77,495
Discount: $6,200
Incentives: $3,000
Cap Cost: $68,295
Residual: 55% (36/10k)
Money Factor: .00047 (after max MSDs)
Base Payment: $765 (not including tax)
Drive Off: $8,405 (includes MSDs, Acq Fee, 1st Payment, Documentation, RMV, etc)
just got deal signed recently on 2021 X5 xDrive40i, I got 10%, 11% and 11.3% off MSRP respectively from three different dealers. It is custom build.

MSRP: $70995
Pre-incentive/rebate discount: $8100
Rebate/Incentive: $3500 ($1000 corp + $2500 BMW FS)
Full purchase through BMW FS.

Hey all!

Looking to pick up a leftover new 2020 40i or m50i. Any idea what % off to shoot for pre-incentive? It seems 10% is a good benchmark for a 2021 and above 20% for a 2020 demo, so I'm trying to figure out where a leftover 2020 falls. Thanks!

Hi all,

I am located in NYC, looking to lease a 2021 X5 40i, preferably custom build.

Seems like lease credit is the only incentive at the moment for me. Should I wait for Jan/Feb? I am not in a rush but wanted to take the advantage of "end of year" deals.

If someone could share some interesting lease deals made in the TriState area, I would be excited to follow along!

Keep safe and healthy everyone!

I custom ordered the same X5 in early October and took delivery a couple of weeks ago. The incentives (and residual value & money factor) have been more or less the same through December. In fact, it even appears that incentives are slightly worse in December. If you place an order this month you will 'lock' December rates/incentives and when you take delivery, you can pick from that month's rates/incentives or the figures you have locked.

What I have found is that dealer allocations for X5 are very low, so you may not even be able to get an order confirmed in December. This model is proving to be very popular and scarce (I can attest to why its so popular - its fantastic!).

Good luck!

Yeah.. I was actually close to signing a deal last December and the numbers and incentives were better than now.. Quick question - I wasn't sure what you meant by "or the figures you have locked". If I placed an order this month and were to take delivery next month, would I be stuck with December rates or could I pick better rates..? Thanks for your reply!

When you complete the BMW Financial Services credit application, you effectively 'lock' the prevailing money factor, residual, and incentives associated with that month's programs. The 'lock' extends 60 days after the end of that month (east coast) and 90 days on the west coast. At the time of delivery, you can use the current month's program or the original locked month's program. For example, I locked in October and when my X5 arrived in November, I had the opportunity to pick which program (Nov or Dec) which was better for me. Of course, there were no changes, so I stayed with October's program. I was hoping that December would bring better incentives and maybe a small bump in the residual, but nothing. Crazy times!

Folks - according to Edmunds, there is $2.5K dealer cash on financing available for X5 45e. I also see a Road Home offer of $3.5K for my zip and credit. Do you all know if these two are stackable?

Thank you.

UDE

Anyone know why some markets offered OL codes with the UDE and others did not? Attended the San Francisco event at the Cow Palace and nothing offered afterwards. Literally got an email a few days later to attend feeding America event for a test drive and rebate and didn't go because I figured

1) it wouldn't be stackable with UDE
2) literally just drove what I wanted to test out and
3) wanted to limit further exposure in public due to Covid

Have attended these events for years and ordered cars afterwards with the rebates. Kind of bummed that BMW pulled the rug out on some markets without letting people know
