After getting my corner lights working with the new update. the following issues are happening

- Check Engine Light on
- Remote Start not working
- my Radio presets dont work after restart
- Satellite radio shows to be expiring when it should be good for a year
- Carplay is very Glitchy to the point where I rather not use it

dropped the car back off to the dealer anyone else have any or similar issues

I just had it in for check engine light and remote start "unavailable". It turned out to be a faulty NVLD pressure sensor on the fuel tank. They said with that code the car will not remote start.

I haven't had any of the other issues. My car seems to be running 1000x better on 03/2019.35.

It did take 2 weeks to get the part from Germany, so I took it back and then dropped it off again once they had it.

We are still on the 11/2018.68 version, everything is working great for the past few weeks (no cornering lights). Was warned not to update to latest for a bit till all the bugs are worked out.

I wonder if its the software is causing this or if the part is defective?

what's the 'lateat' version your on. Mine had an update pushed form BMW to the dealer whixg was 03/2019.37 which only one other person has that I've seen on here. I have no real issue (other than a tiny one) so I doubt your on that one. Please post a pic of your software screen

When I got .35 installed, I too lost remote start and my satellite radio says it is expiring soon.

For remote start, I eventually got it working again by going into iDrive and turning it on again. For satellite radio, no idea why... it just came up yesterday for the first time, but software was updated like 2 weeks ago. I bought my car mid November, so now is 5 months. I too thought satellite subscription was for a year instead of 6 months.

Sigh... I saw that message pop up as well after .35 was installed - a few days after I think.

The BMW site says "SiriusXM Satellite Radio with 1-year All Access Subscription"

While I hate Sirius radio with a vengeance, I'm not ok with BMW's bumbling software bozos cutting off my free subscription.

Pretty boundless what BMW's developers are capable (incapable?) of.

I just got the Sirius message for the first time since the update to .35. Backing out seems to clear it and I can listen to Sirius.

Wow, I may wait a while to get an update. Had an appointment for last week but cancelled it after reading about the issues. I have no real issues other than occasionally losing the weather app but an idrive reboot brings it right back. Appreciate the reports from those that have had the updates.

That blue battery is normal, guys do you ever actually look at the gauge cluster? We can't assume something is wrong without knowing the standard first.

Yeah that "blue battery" is what regens when you're coasting and the alternator is charging the battery. It's normal.

I've grown used to not having cornering lights and think I'll be in no hurry to push my dealership into activating them until the bugs get worked out.

OP - I hope things get better for you and thank you for your post.

I have that software version and I had the xm issue but I backed out of it and it hasn't reoccured. however my presets won't properly store stations either and whenever I shut the car off, idrive won't remember that I was in presets. if I was listening to an xm channel while in presets, if I shut off, the next time i startup I end up on that channel but in the xm menu not in preset menu. Annoying.

yes! was wondering about this annoyance with the car not remembering presets/radio. i wonder if this is normal or will be fixed with another software update. what version are you on?

I am on 11/2018.68 and have not had any issues so far. I am in no hurry to get cornering lights enabled. Willing to wait for the latest version to be stabilized before I upgrade to it.

I am there with you. I have controllable issues like weather app sometime not showing up but a quick iDrive reboot fixes everything. Everything else works great except for the cornering lights. At this point I am concerned I would be trading one problem for 4 others with an update. I am waiting it out a bit longer.
