So far I cannot fault my car, still a piece of art and totally loving it!

Just one quick question though, the back to the two front seats are different. One is smooth leather (driver side), the other seems to be plastic (passenger side)?!?!

Does anyone else have this?

I wonder if they used the seatbacks for the Vernasca assuming you have Merino or vice versa if you have Vernasca. On mine the seatbacks on both are a black plastic and I have Cognac Vernasca.

I have Vernasca and both driver and passenger in black are the same texture. It also looks like the driver side of WAHF80M3.....

the back should be sensatec, but that does look odd. I think the grain is just that different. now i have to check when i get home!

I've got ivory Moreno and they match in texture. They both look like your "pebble " grain one to me. (Sorry for the bad photo but you get the idea)

On the same topic, the rear of the top Cayenne trim level of seats look like a plastic coffin. Really cheap looking.

unless, i'm misunderstanding, i think his concern was more that it looks like two different material/texture. Even if it was cheap looking , they should match on both seat

Hey sorry guys went missing on this thread for a while...

When you say drivers side, do you mean left hand side as I am in Australia and that's the passenger side 😀

I have Marino and BMW have claimed it should be the left hand seat (plastic) but why would the indulgence package have plastic over leather if this was the case. I think they have it wrong... hmmm. 🤔

Will have to pop into a dealer and check 😵

The OP left no vehicle information to be of any help with looking up any specifics...but if you click the link below to the part database (I generically selected for the G05 X5 50i)...you can see what the part nbrs are for items #2 & #3 for the various options that are available (yes/no).

If you don't know what your option codes are for the type of leather you have etc you can decode your VIN at www.mdecoder.com
