Wow! This looks almost too easy! Thank you for sharing I didn't know about this app. I'll definitely get the OBD2 adapter and give this a try...

See ya later Start/Stop!

Will this app be able to code Anti-Dazzle function? That's really the only option that is just absolutely incredible.

Agreed - I've been using codemycar.com and that involves me, with a laptop and usb-based odbII cable in range of a wifi connection so they can remotely code my car. I've since learned to use those tools and have done some coding myself... This looks way easier.

I'm wondering if the phoneapp offers the number of tweaks that codemycar.com can handle.

Their website provides a few OBD2 adapter options that will work with the app: http://bimmercodeapp.com/adapter/

I believe you can via the expert mode within the App, not a 100% certain though.

I believe that "dazzle" occurs when a vehicle's high-beams blind the oncoming driver. So the idea behind this technology is to allow for the best of both worlds: 1) Driver has the best possible high beam light coverage, which "paints" the environment ahead with as much light as possible 2) Without blinding oncoming drivers.

My understanding is that this feature can actively suppress the portion of the light pattern in the area of the oncoming vehicle, while painting everything else with bright light to assist in night driving.

This can only be done through VO Coding by using E-Sys.
I have done it to my F10, F15, F06, and now my G30.

Can the auto pilot/assist be programmed to disable the need to regain steering control? Whether through the app or via E-Sys? Anyone able to do this?

Not 100% sure what you are asking, but I'm assuming you are wanting to defeat the system that detects whether or not your hands are on the steering wheel? If so, there are ways to do it, but not by coding.

FDL coding could do it, but lots of potential to miss one or more of the hundred changes.

G05 has completely new ECU set. Bimmercode I doubt can code any functions.

Question... If I do something like Race Chip, can I still code my G05 to do the other things that i want, or will the RC negate that?

Impressive considering they are not on the road. Wonder how developer tested.

Website also says software can code HUD turnsignals, which cannot be done on Digital clusters.

I contacted Bimmercode back in the end of July when I placed my order for the X5 and the reply was that the ECU is shared by other G series vehicles. So any G series vehicle will be supported right from the start and more features will become available as they start working with that specific model.
