I cannot confirm but when mine was at 112 I was considering adding the BW radio and my CA said that Ďcouldí move me to the back of the line. So I said screw it cause Iím mostly listening to talk radio and podcasts anyways in my car!

Mine said same thing that's why I wanted to check here. I was thinking of switching from all black 22s to the other 22s option style. My build isn't scheduled until Feb. anyway because I selected the blue/white combo interior.

You might as well switch then. It shouldn't delay it much since you are still 2 months out

If that interior is a merino individual option you guys need to proceed carefully with this and get on it with your CA right away about a wheel change. There was a post on here a month or two ago I think about how certain individual options (I believe the full merino interiors and/or alcantara headliners) lock the order immediately and the dealers cannot change it.

I was going in to order my X5, I knew I wanted just about every option, so my CA just entered a random interior color (ivory and night blue). He was doing this to have an open order in the system so they had a calculated price ready for me. We were then going to modify the order with my selected interior color and trim. Well unbeknownst to my CA and the GM, doing this locked the order. They could not cancel or modify it even an hour later. They had to submit a second order for my actual build and both cars showed up - their accidental order showed up over a month before mine and the orders were an hour apart.

Sounds very much like my situation. Appreciate all the feedback guys.

My build was just bumped up from 12-16 to 12-12!

While it’s only 4 days I’m excited because I think that it makes it more likely I may get it before the holidays start! Crossing my fingers. (And of course checking mygarage hourly!)

That's great news! That means it's probably gonna switch from "production begins" to "entering assembly line" any day now. I know for mine, all the progress happened over night.

My dealer asked if I wanted to forgo the PCD to get the car sooner. They said I would have it this week. So I image if you're done 12/11 or 12/12 you will be claiming it next week some time. Exciting times!

Did they tell you when you can do the PCD?

Was scheduled for 1/7 (first day the PCD re-opens after the holidays), but pushed it back to 1/10 b/c that's a Friday which is easier for my wife and I to work out the logistics with 2 young kids at home.

Nice! So my CA was not correct that I would have to wait until February for a PCD.

Honestly, from talking with my CA - I'm not sure they even know. They take a wild stab at it. For example, my CA didn't know (or didn't share) that the PCD is closed from 12/19 to 1/6. I brought up multiple times that it would be nice to take delivery around Christmas because I have a lot of flexibility around that time. Never mentioned to me that it would not be possible.

Getting mine from a CA dealer, it's in transit but the dealership expects it 12/24
Then PDI, then 1-3 days back over to Denver

I sent my SA the build order today, confirming what we wanted (we're getting things others have said 'locks in' your build making it impossible to change so i went over it 4 times). he said he's gonna submit the order to his manager and email me a production number. I didn't ask him how long that may take, but that's the first step right? How long do you think it may take for me to expect a production number?

If the dealership has an allocation available, you should get the production number as soon as they put in the order.

I put in my order on a Saturday. CA said he can't input orders on the weekend. By EOB that Monday I had a production number.
