Entertainment Selection Missing from HUD

So all of the sudden I cannot get the Entertainment options to appear on the HUD. I went in the settings and it is set to display on the HUD. The first couple of days I had the car I could see the stations I was scrolling through on the HUD. Now it’s gone and I cannot get it back! Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Reset iDrive. Press and hold volume button for 20+ seconds until the main screen goes black, then release. This is your first step in all similar issues.

Thanks. I reset it and still nothing. But looking through the forums it seems it takes some people multiple resets!

Just to be clear...resetting is just a matter of holding the volume button until it shuts off, correct? You don’t get an on-screen message like “rebooting” or something. Just black screen?

Thanks!

Yes, just black screen after 20-30 seconds, then release. I know some have stated that holding longer (40-50 seconds) does a deeper reset, but I can't confirm that — still, it won't hurt to try.

I've rebooted iDrive a dozen times and still cannot get the media selection to appear in the HUD. Everything else appears in the HUD just fine. Any other pointers?
TIA

i remember there was an option to show entertainment option from the cluster to the HUD. Does it show in the cluster now instead? if so, you might need toggle the switch.

Should be under the displays menu.
