My car started downloaded this new version OTA automatically in the background. Any known issue or unreliability in this version so far?

Excellent, it rolled out in Europe yesterday and figured it would tale awhile for the US.

Who done the update already? Any unusual things happening after the update? I’m not risking to do it atm as last time my x6 got fully disconnected from internet.

Went without a hitch for me. It did reset the color of my accent lighting, but that’s all I noticed.

2024 X5 50e, just downloaded and installed with no issues. Have no idea what it updated as the release notes are generic like the last update. Guessing it must be bug fixes and performance improvements since no feature updates were mentioned.

I was given 3/2024.40 today. I’ve only had 11/2023 a month.

I just had 03/2024/47 installed at the dealer on ny 50e to resolve drivetrain malfunction and cel codes. It has dropped apple carplay twice already - I never had this issue before with the other software versions even though it is commonly reported by others

Have you tried having your iphone bluetooth “forget” the BMW and then reconnect? That has resolved most issues for me.

Can anyone with the new software see if there is an option for "Do not lock at home" in the "Lock doors when walking away" function?

Does anyone know if this OTA update will resolve the Valvetronic issue for the V8’s? There was a service bulletin about this and I think the fix was for the dealer perform an update. Just wondering if this update will save me a trip to the dealer.

Doesn't appear to have this feature added, unfortunately.... 🤷🏽&zwj;♂️

This version just installed on my 50e today. I was surprised to see it, as 11/2023 installed only a couple of weeks ago.
