Thank you for the mad translation skills or was that written in your native language? In either case thank you. I wish I could read/speak more than one language "Hola" and "gracias" that's all I got.
Does he mention where he got it? I also e-mailed vtech to see if they know anything about it. |

I thought that if perhaps someone else did the work already that we could get more details. To bad he's not on the boards. |

While it looks to be the same IC as the 335i when looking at realoem, the cores could very well be differnt since the 335d not only has a different engine/turbo set-up but it runs at much higher boost pressures which may require a different core. There also seems to be at least 1 sublte physical difference when comparing the parts on realoem. I wish we could track down this owner, he could help us out big time. |

Besides that, the wagner-tuning ic has a bar and plate core which is capable to handle with high pressure alot better than the stock tube and fin core.

I contacted vtech about this car and in particular about the IC, but they were not very helpful. Yes our cars are prone to heat soak like the 335i, esp with a tune. |

We are still trying to either find an owner near a shop that is willing or vice versa that is familiar with the 335i IC so they can compare the differences. |

I'd like to get to the track before the install so I can see if there is any changes though.

Why are the rest of the posters in this thread falling over themselves to obtain a system like this for their diesels? Belching black smoke ISN'T something that is considered desirable. As the other guy so succinctly said, "IRRESPONSIBLE" Similar posters rave about removing their catalytic converters for HP gains. |

If I could I would remove the DEF and other factors WE in the US of A have to have installed in our vehicles, when the REST of the world does NOT comply with US of A and EU. Dont even start with DIESELS truck which are not regulated, this is an issue most of us specially me is botheringsome

I for got to mention I hv been in close contact with Nick of Wagner ICs in USA and the Doc from Germany that actually went to Wagner in Germany and they had to do a 3D of the actual OEM IC to START making one for us, the 335i IC will NOT work with our "D" Hence, tubing is different , the DOC told me in 2 months they will have one for us, Nick told me 4 months. If you have seen the Wagner ICs they are SWEET looking and look almost OEM!!! I am waiting for that IC to come out.

Besides my mods, his car also has hybrid turbos. He wants to break the 420hp mark.

tiago this info I got was from the DOC in Germany, Wagner couldnt make a fix for the 335d since the 335i tubing would not match thats why they decided to scan it 3D and make one that is correctly and adpatable to our "D"s now remember although the same engine in Portugal its different tubing here in USA, maybe that is a factor but I doubt it cause the DOC is in Germany, dont know what to say on this
