Bmw vsc protection plan plt iw

Hi, My '21 X5 45e warranty ending in Aug this year. I received quote for extended warranty named "BMW VSC PROTECTION PLAN PLT IW" for $4600 for 84 months/75k miles.

Is this a good quote and plan. Any experience with this VSC PLT IW PROTECTION plan.

Thanks

Vehicle Service Contracts/Extended warranties rarely make financial sense. Where they provide value is for someone that likes the feeling that they don't have to pay should something that is covered breaks.

The BMW Platinum VSC is the top one and provides the most coverage. Make sure you read the exclusions and are comfortable with them.

You will also want to shop around. While I would not get one I shopped around a few years ago for pricing and these three were the lowest and they continue to offer great pricing.

Definitely bookmarking this. I am in almost the exact same position as the OP (2012 45e with manufacturer warranty expiring around August), and would be considering a VSC. I don't yet know if I will purchase one (and I understand TurtleBoy's point about the value proposition), but I am the type of person who would consider it for peace of mind, if the exclusions are reasonable.

That said, it looks like the plan linked excludes the battery components for the 45e, which might be a deal-breaker for me, since this is one of the main areas of concern for a high cost failure. But I'll look more closely at the plan specifics when it's closer to the time I'd make that decision.

I have received quotes starting 3k for 84 months 60k miles for VSC PLT IW protection. Is this a good price. Do you recommend takin the extended Ultimate Care for oil changes?

Any update? I am a nursing student and am in my final year. Today I want to share a thing that helped me so much in my studies. I found this https://stateofwriting.com/uk/nursing-writing-service very late, and I am sharing it with new students. If you also need help with your nursing studies, then you can use them. I still use them because they are not as expensive as others and do the work very professionally.

The best I got is 72m/60k for $2.9k, I think I need to go with this.
