Can you still code Anti-Dazzle with 03/23?

Are any of the modules required for anti-dazzle to function part of those that are 'locked' by the latest software version for the pre-LCI? IOW, can you still program that function if you have 03/23 installed?

There is a function in Esys that can identify which (if any of) ECUs are 'locked'.

I have not been able to validate if this function is working since none of the ECU in my vehicle that I code/update are 'locked'.

FYI, my vehicle FW ilevel is up-to-date (03/23 - S18A-23-03-550).

Similar to BimmerCode in that you can run it standalone on a mobile device but on a Windows laptop, you can have much greater functionality as it works with E-Sys which is the BMW factory software. Same license you can run on laptop and a mobile device.

Yes but they provide links to the software upon purchase of the BU license.

I don't suppose there is a write-up that you can do, or followed for this?

I removed 5AP and VO Coded HU_MGU, BDC_Body3, KAFAS4, FLM [43], FLM [44] using Esys.

Then used Protools to do the "FDL" coding that my copy of Esys doesnt do.

General guide is here post #35: https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1852315&page=2

He mentions he doesn't trust protools for VO coding. That's why I used Esys for that. But there are posts (post #1 in that thread) that used only Protools to code it. I've not tried to VO code with Protools.

Additionally, after I did the Protools "popular" coding for Anti-Dazzle, I went into Expert mode->3100 Common and set Country_Variation to Europe_RC. Also went into 3102 Light Detection and set C_FLA_CC_MESSAGE_3 to No_CC_Message.
