Bimmercode newb
Hey all,
New to using bimmercode and when I went to do my first batch of coding, the app said to start the car, no mention of diagnostic mode. Will that affect anything if it’s not in diagnostic mode? |

You probably read it wrong, they recommend to not have the engine running. Depending on your adapter you just need to connect and Diagnostic mode is not required, doesn't hurt if you engage it though. If you were able to connect then diagnostic mode is not needed for your setup.

when I connect, my vehicle automatically goes into diagnostic mode.
