Week 29 Production

I've ordered on June 15. My order week is 29. It went to 150 on June 30 and still here, no move at all.
I've asked the Genius and they said my production date was July 22.
I'm in Illinois, the US. Do you guys think it will be completed and i can get it by August? Cause of i'm on my vacation from August 2 for a month. Name: 893B1C5C-C29E-4670-B41B-F5855C26DA83.jpg

If your production date is July 22 then you won't see any movement until then. Production Begins means that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated not that assembly has begun.

In normal times I would say it shouldn't be a problem but with the trucking situation you never know.

It takes less than a day for assembly so it should be done on the 22nd.

As I said before in normal times not a problem now it is just a matter of getting a truck. I would think you will get it but you never know.

My order has been stuck in "order received" since June 4th when I got my production number. I ordered the car May 30. When I emailed genius they said there is a "requested production week of July 18, 2022 (week 29). As of June 4, 2022, however, no production week is available.

Anyone else in this boat? I see people mentioning orders done 2 weeks after mine already getting a production week which is demoralizing.

Yes, there are a number of members here in the same status. BMW should know in a few weeks whether or not they can fit it into the schedule for MY22 or if it will get bumped to MY23. You will see the status and/or MY change in MyGarage. If it goes to MY23 then make sure you get with your CA to go over the MY changes and make sure your vehicle is configured the way you want.

I see, thanks for the advice! I call my CA and genius once a week for updates but they don't have any more insight than I do on this. Hoping I can get a '22 simply due to cost.

Yes, same spot today as well. Ours are near each other... Just hope they put our drivers sides on the correct sides for our countries 😄 😄 😄

Someone posted their MY22 was scheduled for the first week August and someone with a MY23 previously scheduled for the first week was moved back to the 2nd. They may be trying to handle all those that were stuck without a date.

If you're reading off the order confirmation, the 2022/07/30 might be referencing the week (week 30). What's your vehicles production status now?

All in all glad seeing movement on July and august vehicle statuses.
