I think it is the white protective plastic that the car is wrapped in for transport.

FWIW - My week 33, X45e moved to "production begins" today. SA confirmed 150 status.....hope all the options remain available!

Do the F12 trick (do a search and you will ample about this tool) and you will see what is included. As I understand it, very little changes after this point - normally.

Production began today for my 2023 x5 45e. Yay! I wasn't able to determine the expected delivery date with the F12 trick, but hopefully my CA gets in touch with me with that info or I'll try Genius tomorrow. Looking forward to being a first time BMW owner!

Once you hit Production Begins the prodDate data item is filed in.

My Prod Date is also Aug 19. Finally figured out the F12 trick. So much easier with Safari instead of Chrome!

Today, the status of my 2023 40i has changed to "Production Begins"

Production date is: "2022-08-20", the last day of week 33.

07/19: Order placed, got production number, with 112 status, garage status: Scheduled for Production
07/22: garage status changed to: Order Received, talked to Genius who confirmed that the production week changed from 31 to 34
07/26: garage status changed to: Scheduled for Production
08/04: Production Begins (prodDate: "2022-08-20")

As of now, no options were deleted . I had Ivory White Merino leather (with Multi-contour seats) and 3rd row in my options.

Tell your CA you want to do PCD. They like to know at time of ordering but it can be done later. Not sure about at 150 though.

Need to do ASAP!...150 is the last status to request, but BMWNA suggests doing it sooner.

I was just told it is first come first serve, and can take up to 10 days from receipt of request to process and confirm an available PCD date.

To add, you should have your dealer submit the PCD request as soon as possible. They will not assign a date until your vehicle hits 150 status. The day mine reached 150, I reached out to PCD, and they said they would reach out to my CA with available dates that day. They did and he reached out to me later that same day in the afternoon.

I see that some week 32 are seeing their dates moving up 3 days. Hopefully next week we will see the same.

Not to get folks too excited, but I've been tracking a couple production numbers around mine that were at 8/17 (mine is still 8/19) and they are now 8/13!!!! Moved up 4 days! Jus sayin🙏🏼
