I can't understand why BMW doesn't make at least Sport+ available in all X5 models. Its there for the 40i, 50D and 50i - seems like 30d owners have been singled out to miss out ! |

Pressing Sport mode twice just toggles between "Sport" and "Sport Individual", but there's no "Sport+" mode in the 30d. I've been told it can be done, just requires more advanced coding like esys. |

Hi guys. I'm about to jump in on this coding but I don't see anything about opening the exhaust flaps. Is that possible through bimmercode? Is that just a Carly thing? I want my baby to sound angrier. Amy info would help thanks. Happy holidays

There is no known coding for the flap. However, one can open it with software and then either remove the control cable or pull the fuse. You can also open it by driving and pulling the fuse during motion from the trunk. If you like Bimmercode and want to support the same developer, his BimmerLink paid app will open the flap to allow cable or fuse hack.

I made the change and left the first code in and it seems to show up in the driveway. Not sure if i was supposed to remove the first line. we will see how it works tomorrow.

Some can get it working with just the first setting, others require 3 or 4 of the settings. Not all settings are available for all cars dependant on i-step, region and/or factory options. My best advice is to code as many of the 4 as you are able. |

Hi,
Just wanted to check if anyone was able to code Lane Change Assist. I saw it a few pages ago but the instruction wasn’t clear, can we code it via BimmerCode? If anyone can share their experience and the steps to code. Thanks in advance Jeet |

You can vo code with esys alone, or fdl code with a launcher. |

Successfully coded Video in Motion and M start up screen. No issues on 2020 40i. Used ENET cable and RJ45 to lightning adapter with iPhone 11 Pro.

Choose the adapter for the G series and OS. I'm using OBDLink MX+ Bluetooth per recommendation from helpful users in this forum.

ENET cable and Ethernet to lightning adapter is about $40 and is the most versatile. Not only can you use the ENET cable with eSys coding, but certain bimmercode features are coded through ENET because of its higher data rate (like HKFM - Tailgate)

I recently successfully tested HKFM tailgate coding with Bimmercode TestFlight (Version 3.5 10325) + ENET cable. The developer provided to validate, so hopefully we’ll see it re incorporated in the next full release.
