I know it's mentioned that some had success re-enabling the anti dazzling function for laser lights ie: tunneling feature.
Is it confirmed that bimmercode will never be able to get this anytime in future?

My dealer also told me that the laser lights do not have the same range as our EU friends. Is at least the range codeable to get the full reach?

I am a little chicken to try any aggressive methods myself but won't mind doing it with help or even pay to get it done. Bimmercode was much more better for my type. Wish they supported any of the above.

Yeah, its taking Bimmercode quite some time to add anything new.

At least some of the important "annoying" stuff is done like enabling memory function for ASS, disabling warning messages at startup, and 5-flash indicators. The last annoying thing left for me is enabling Adaptive mode as default at startup.

The rest are just luxuries I guess.....

Exactly the same features I coded, and waiting for the Adaptive mode as default since is the mode I use on a daily basis

Same here... Waiting for bimmercode or my token for launcher pro... Whichever comes first will hold the honor of coding Adaptive as default drive mode.

Hey guys, so Im taking delivery of an x5 tomorrow and I'm looking to code.
Knowing what you know now and if you were starting out, would you recommend going with E-sys Launcher Pro or Bimmercode as a platform to code with?

Depends on what you want to code. If you want to code basic stuff, like ASS, 5-blink turn singnal, etc, stick with BimmerCode. Esys + Laucher Pro would be for more advanced coding features like changing the default drive mode or automatic speed limit adjustments, etc.

My X5 already had the option for 5 blink turn signal in iDrive, so I am sure yours will too. I have coded both ways for over 8 years now, for most common changes, Bimmercode fits the bill and is easiest to use.

I don't believe mine did have the 5-blink. Just one and three. I'm also running 11/2019.41. It was one of the first things I coded with BimmerCode.

11/2019.50 has that option.

I just tested the last update from TestFlight (Bimmercode beta version) and now is possible to code Adaptive mode or any other mode as default driving mode from start.
Also found a few more features that were not available before like deactivate the window lifter interruption.

Depends is definitely the answer.

If you want a tech hobby, Bimmercode is the gateway drug.

If you want a relatively simple and safe facility to improve a few things and not going to get too worked up about the limitations, Bimmercode might be enough.

ESys and it's launchers are definitely more involved than Bimmercode — if you don't have the details-focused personality and patience for hacky chaotic techy things, don't go there.

Game changer - I'm just waiting on that one and dynamic speed limit adjusting.

It seems like the app now only shows the modules that are open for coding, at least in my case, there were not "grayed" modules

interested in the same thing ... seems like so many coding options are out there to be discovered.
Can someone explain how to do the assisted driving view in expert mode.?

Any idea when might see this released as an update?

What version is your beta?

Mine's 2.16.0-6315 (released 27th of Jan 2020) - using Android. I didn't see any of those changes you've mentioned.

I have it too, but on iOS the beta is 3.5(10687)

Thanks a bunch.
It was easy to code.
I hope it works when I take it out later
