Yes. In expert mode search "logo" and change that setting as desired.

This is all I found. And this M looks great. But still couldn't find a spot where to have alpine layout without alpine logo. Any help appreciated.

Keep looking, in BimmerCode, go expert mode in kombi, then use the search function to search for "logo". That will give you a dropdown of the different model logos, to include not displaying one. Your pictures don't show "logo"

You can't get the M logo working with the Alpina instrument layout.

I've tried this several times, and no go.

The "///M" logo only works with the M sport instrument cluster and standard BMW X5 cluster.

The only logo that works with the Alpina layout is the "Alpina" logo, which you can enable or disable (turn off).

Ok yes. That answers my question. Thank you. It's just in earlier posts I saw someone with alpine cluster with m logo

I found that when I switched from Alpina back to the M layout, that the M logo did not return, so you have to manually go back and activate that logo if you switch back - just an FYI.

I'm using the Alpina layout currently and it's very nice. I am wondering about having to switch it back to take in the BMW service center. I am planning on bringing my M50i as my brake pedal is squeaking badly. not the brakes but the pedal. would ask for updated software too. Do we know the exact code choice while in expert mode to get M50i logo to return?

I don't know the exact code off the top of my head, but when in expert mode use the search feature and search for "LOGO". From there you can figure out which parameter you need to adjust - should be fairly obvious.

Where did you find the adaptive mode or any other drive mode coding option in the beta version? I do see it mentioned under the instrument cluster heading but when I go into that option I don't see it, unless I have to go into expert mode and if yes then where in expert mode?

Any other new features in the test version that I can play around with? Just became a tester for Bimmercode so still figuring it out

I don't think you need to worry about returning it to default state. At least my dealer does not care crap about anything and they just do what they are supposed to do and hand the car back over to me. Heck, I even leave the OBDLink adapter plugged in and they remove it when they are running their diagnostics and then plug it back in for me!

Yes, but there are actually two (x2) M logo's, and you have to choose the right one.

The two options are: M Sport and X5M (I think from memory, I may have got the 2nd one wrong ...).

I choose the M Sport option, and when I go back from Alpina to either M cluster or standard cluster, the ///M logo comes back.

My pedal is squeaking as well but it's not the pedal I think it is the DSC because it squeaks when the driver assistance package applies the brakes as well even when the pedal is not used. Can you confirm if yours squeaks when the driver assistance package is braking as well?

Can someone share with me if those Alpina and M gauges work with Kilometers p/hour? I changed them but the needle didn't show the actual speed in kilometers, by that I mean the needle position wasn't placed on the correct numbers comparing to the 3 digit speed gauge

Are those only available for MPH?

Didn't spend much time with M dash, not that useful. But regarding your Alpina questions, read these two posts (and surrounding discussion):
