22 Owners Manual Cloth

I recall my ‘19 40i coming with a vinyl covered owner’s manual but my ‘22 owner’s manual has a much cheaper looking canvas-like cover. Seems they’ve cut corners here as well. Anyone else noticed this on theirs?

The one that came with my car is merino leather. Matches the interior.

I wager the next generation does not come with a physical manual and it will be available online only.

Mine is also a canvas material...although I don't think it looks bad. It's neat/clean. This is also my first BMW so I'm not sure what they've had in the past.
