Air suspension issue
Just taken delivery of an X5 3.0d a week ago which I am very pleased with. Nice ride compared with my last motor a 640D Gran coupe although quite different.
However a couple of times I have had issues changing the height of the vehicle using the central lever . Getting the message on the idrive "level change not available, system temporarily not available". I'am I missing something or do I have a problem. Has anybody else had this issue. PS trying to lower the car to make cleaning the roof easier. |

I have gotten that message a few times. In my case it was because there was a door open when I was trying it, there may be other requirements for lowering.

Thanks for the reply. Have checked that. Thought it may be the battery level as earlier in the week was playing with all the setting on the idrive etc. However battery should be fully charged now as done a few longish trips and still having the random issues. Wondering if it is a software issue.

Also, I think the gizmo won't let you change the level more than twice in a row...
