Winter Setup 21/22 Wheels
Hey everyone.
So been checking into wheels, looks like a winter setup is going to be a "rich" one. thinking 20 or 21" maybe bbs but coming in just at 5K or so that's a heck of a price tag for winters. Any others find better solutions?

Xccelerate - I'm searching the options for winter set ups and came across both your posts. What size wheels are you running? I currently have the Pirelli Scorpion winters on 20"s. I saw someone else posted a square 21" set up with 295 all around. I'm not thrilled about 21" for winter with that small sidewall. I'd prefer a square 20" on 285 all around but read conflicting posts on whether 20" clear the brakes. The lease on my '19 X6M is up in October and I don't want to get stuck without snows, so checking it out in advance. It would be too much to ask that my current winter set up will fit
Thanks! Quote:

Thank you! Maybe I'll get lucky and my 611s will fit.

How is it with the 21/22 snows? I take it you swap the tires from summers to winters then back on the stock wheel? I'm thinking of doing that in October because buying a winter wheel and tire set is getting expensive and hard to sell whenever I switch cars.

I guess I’ll find out for myself in October. Thanks for the info.
