Head Unit Crash “No signal”
Hi everyone,
I started my car and “no signal” appear in the display. I tried connections obd2 to diagnosis the issue but the MGU unit disappeared. I can hear it keeping restarting and I hope it is not a series malfunction. It has been a week now, I read all posts and did every possible solution. Now my question, can it be fixed it needs a replacement? Second question is I need help to know the type and model My car is x5 2019 m kit. I know it’s an MGU head unit but don’t know what model .. Appreciate all the help you can provide guys.. Thanks in advance

It can depend on when it was built and options you have. Search realoem for it and then verify on some other BMW parts sites.

I can’t help with the part number, but I had this issue once in the morning late Fall last year when it started getting cold outside (I’m in the mid Atlantic region), MY21 45e. it never returned, but I showed the same message to my SA when it went in for 3-year service last Dec, and they addressed it by updating the I-Level software, went from 03/2023.50 to 11/2023.46. still hasn’t returned
