PDC fail after light bump RR corner

So today a car tapped the left rear bumper area at a light.
No damage other than some clearcoat scratches.
No damage or scratches to any sensors.
Now I’m getting a PDC and automatic parking fail on my screen.
Is there something I can do at home to get that back?
Will the dealer cover it under warranty?

Accidents are not covered by warranties...

The sensor might have been cracked, or pushed out of alignment, or the connector damaged or dislodged. Without taking the cover off, you probably won't be able to tell, although the exact decoding of the error message in memory might lead to the culprit. It might just take pushing the connector back in place. Won't know until someone looks more closely.

Sorry to hear you had the minor accident. No fun dealing with this sort of thing, no matter how small!

If it was an impact to the bumper, then most likely, it would have compressed/flexed/distorted the plastic bumper for some distance (likely up to a few feet) from the impact point. (There’s a decent amount of flex in the plastic.). So, it could have dislodged or disconnected one of the flush mounted sensors.
