Interior Color Question

For the past 4 new vehicles I've ordered, I always get a white exterior with black interior. I am thinking about ordering an X5M with Competition pkg in Alpine White with maybe a full taruma brown interior for a change. I looked at an X6M yesterday (donington gray exterior) and I thought it kind of broke up the dark black look that I'm so used to. The BMW build site doesn't make it look very good. I just don't know.
Opinions welcomed. Thanks

My current (2019) X6M has Donnington Gray exterior and I think it's still a very nice color that shows off the aggresive lines of the car, doesn't show dirt marks or swirls and looks great in the sun or city street lighting at night time.

My old 2009 X6 35i in Black Sapphire Metallic had a tendency to show off dust or pollen just hours after a wash or wipe down. I usually hand wash my cars but I'm aware that dark paint schemes have a tendency to show swirls prominently after taken through car wash facilities.

I dont think you will be disappointed if you try out a lighter color this time around!

Massive massive fan of the Donington Grey in X5M it is a stunning colour. I chose Tanzanite for mine but have had a few Carbon Black X5s prior and have always loved black up until now.

Donington Grey is a great color. I had it on my F85 X5M and I currently have it on my i8 Roadster. Easy to keep clean and doesn't show paint imperfections.

In my opinion the black, while the interior of these cars look great regardless, hides some of the intricate details (diamond quilting, contrast, stitching, etc.).

The black was fine (i sat in one today), but was "very black". With our cars, everything else inside is black.

You can't go wrong with any option, but the brown, red, Silverstone are all amazing and really "wow" you.

Totally agree - the bi-colour seats are fantastic and really make the interior quite the "event" The Silverstone with black centre inserts looks fantastic IMO!

I think for exterior the following colors are all great: Mineral White; Marina Bay Blue (Mine); Donington Grey; and Tanzanite Blue. My favorite interior is no longer an option which was the white with navy blue. I think the silverstone with black inserts in by far the best interior choice.

You can get the oyster with navy blue on our cars and it's pretty cool because the headliner alacantra and dash turn to navy as well. I just personally liked the white more than the oyster so that's what I chose

personally I prefer a black interior. yes it is basic or even boring. I like it . it is easier to keep clean imho. it also looks good with most exterior colors

I agree. Though I thought about getting another color for the interior for a day or so, I just had to stay with black. With a Bavarian vehicle, you can never go wrong with a black interior.

I got bored of the black. Also got tired of Sakhir.

So decided to try the Ivory interior and other than having a 3 year old constantly kick the back of the seat. I think it's fantastic at 700 miles in.

Is that the Silverstone or White/Navy?

I think the navy alacantra looks amazing in person.

if you always gone one color switch it up if you plan on leasing, if you are planning on keeping it I would recommend you go with something you are use to bc based off your history which you stated you may not be happy after initial hype wears off. just my 2 cents
