HUD resets to default height on 2021 X5

I've recently noticed that when I get in to drive the X5 (2021 M50i) the HUD that I had previously set the height to two or three clicks higher then the middle default setting has gone back to the damn default height.

Has anyone experienced this? Still very new to the car. To be perfectly honest, I somewhat miss the days of doing nothing more then adjusting the seat, mirrors, and setting your 6 favorite FM stations in a new car and enjoying it until it was time for a new one.

Set your preferred height and then set your seating profile on the door panel.

The HUD is linked to your personal seating position that's stored in your key and driver profile.

Its possible you changed your HUD height after your set the memory on your seat, so it was never saved. So just reset the HUD to your liking and the press the memory button the door and press 1 or 2.

Whenever I change something, I then re-save the seat memory, and then lock the doors with my remote after getting out to ensure it’s saved to my profile.

double check that the correct driver profile is active.

I once began a drive and noticed the programmable console buttons were different and the HUD configuration was different despite the correct seat and mirror positions for me. I use the reduced size HUD, but my wife uses the full HUD. I quickly glanced at the central display, which showed it was her profile that was active (though it was my key fob). I selected my profile, and my HUD configuration returned.
