Most forum members aren't aware that posting PDFs using manage attachments using web desktop do not appear in the Bimmerpost mobile app.

If PDFs to show correctly:

1. Upload using manage attachments
2. Then type a link label, select/highlight text, THEN use "insert link" and copy-n-paste the attachment URLs.

Here's are the links to the ordering guides for forum members using the mobile app:

There was someone from (I believe) the UK who posted a few weeks ago, saying they noticed that fog lights were gone from the UK website for the x5. I don't think the post got a lot of responses, but like Javapro said, it appears they're just putting plastic covers over where the fog light used to be.

The images are how the x5 currently shows up in the configurator right now, the left on the US website, and the right on the UK website. The foglights are not there on the UK version. Same story for the x-line as well.

Agreed, but there is no real laser light in the US as laws don't allow it. They are just more powerful adaptive high beams.

This is not correct, there are definitely laser lights in the US (not as powerful as Europe though). I think you may be confusing the laser lights with anti-dazzle which is not currently allowed in the US. Anti-dazzle can be accomplish with either LEDs or laser light technology.

See above and do a little more research and you will realize what you are not understanding.

What I am worrying about is no incentive for MY22 X5 at all in Oct 21.

Reason being I see MY22 X2 and 7/8 series were produced months ago, yet there is still no incentive for them right now.

Yep, fog lights are gone from both xLine and M Sport models on the UK website - same bumper as before with plastic covers where fog lights used to be. Interestingly enough the interior photos still show the fog lights button.

That definitely could be the case but likely there will be some sort of incentive depending on what you may qualify for.

While the incentives, if any, won't be known you can still order and you will get any incentives that are active and you are eligible for when you sign the deal.
I was told by 2 dealers that the 1st month of a new model year is not eligible for discounts and incentives, including loyalty. Is that true?

No, that is not true. Discounts are at the dealer's discretion. I would assume some may not offer a discount (especially given the current situation) but in the past others have given them in the 10% region starting the new model year.

August could be light on incentives since they are still trying to clear the prior year inventory but there will be some. This year since there is very little inventory we may see normal incentives starting the MY. Also keep in mind that when you fill out the credit app you lock in the rate and incentives but that it is a no harm lock so if rates/incentives get better at delivery you can take them.

Could you provide more details on how this works? I filled out a credit app but have not heard anything about a rate, much less a locked rate or incentives. I was just assuming the incentives will be long gone once the MY22 car hits production.

Is this applicable when 1) on a waitlist or 2) your dealer has an allocation and has placed the order or 3) your car is about to arrive and you are now paying for it.

I just did step 1) dealer waitlist waiting for July allocations, and they asked me to fill the credit application.

The lock would not be applicable to you at this point if you are getting a MY22 since the rates/incentives for those have to been announced yet. In general though, when you fill out the credit app you lock in the current rates/incentives for 60 (90 on the West coast and some other areas) days.

Correct, and they were better than the 40i incentives at the time. I believe the APR credit and loyalty/corp sales incentive amounts remained unchanged for the whole model year for the 45e. Seeing how BMW is lowering the 330e and 45e prices for MY22, I am speculating maybe they need to sell more PHEVs for their fleet average on emissions and/or mpg. If that is the case, strong incentives for PHEVs should apply for MY22 as well once the cars are in dealer stock...

This makes me wonder if allocations would increase as well as it seems X5 45e's are harder to come by

The demand is there, the issue is supply. Not sure how long that will take to normalize.

Hey bro, please share details when you have any updates.

I am also in the Bay Area wanting to order MY22 X5 45e, my dealer told me to order now even they don't have any allocation yet

I am also not sure how the incentive/finance-rate will play out since it is not published for MY22 yet (and I doubt it will be available even in August when the production starts).

I believe the last orders with HK was sometime in Feb if I am not mistaken and several even prior to that were deleted from the build. So any X5 40i manufactured after around end Feb did not get the HK Surround audio… From what I recall. I don't know if anyone getting HK so late in the year. You are lucky! The audio quality difference is huge plus you can upgrade the speakers since the Amp has lower power but the same processing as what is used for B&W!
