go to my garage, hit F12, refresh the page, look at fetch and click through the forward options to find data and expand and see what your production date is.

almost same here, submitted on 12/22, went to Prod on 12/23
using decoder (described) look at your ProdDate, I wouldn't expect any changes before that date.

my ProdDate is 1/20 so I'm assuming urs should be around that time too 1/19-1/20

I ordered an X5 on 12/16/21 and got a production #. It has been in ordered received since then, no change at all. Called BMW genius and they mentioned it might be set for production late January. I thought it was a faster process. I bought it through a small dealer, so not sure if that has something to do.

We ordered our on 12/31 and were told expect 3-4 months before it shows up. That was pretty much the same line I got from every dealer I called within a 500 mile radius.

Thanks! Looks like the production date is 1/21. Guessing I'll take delivery end of feb or beginning of March? The wait is torture!

where do you find the forward option and expand? I did hit f12 and refresh, I do see the info to the right but not able to find the proddate. not that tech savvy

from what I saw you should see it at your dealer within a week or two after the ProdDate but obviously it can be different based on location and other factors...

1. Select Network
2. Select Fetch/XHR
3. Select forward?GroupId=.....
4. expend dataContent:
you'll see many values related to your build

prodDate:

will be listed closer to the bottom

Depends where you live… my production date was 1/4, and I had the car on 1/7!! Don't give up hope to get it sooner. We live in Atlanta.

thanks for providing it step by step. But no luck. I am unable to expand dataContent, there is no arrow next to it. There is an arrow next to errorContent and responseContent, but no arrow next to dataContent.

That's quick! I'm in the northeast so it shouldn't add too much time. Still have my lease until April, so I don't "need" the X5 before that. But I really dislike the Ford Explorer I'm driving now as the family/kid hauler and can't wait to have the X5 instead.

Got the same issue with you, no values for 'data content'. But anyway, mine went into production (code 150) on 12/22 as the dealer told me, so far it has been 2.5 weeks and is still in the 'ENTERING ASSEMBLY LINE' stage.
