I'm getting super stoked! Mine went from "prod date" of 01/22/22 to 01/19/22. Hoping that means the build will be done tomorrow and then just have to wait for delivery.

I ordered early December, said Jan 01 production week.

However, my car was built and assembled / finished production on December 20 and entered quality check.

It’s been in Quality Check for a month now and Genius and dealer have no update and no updated date.

Any way to find out more info? I need to have a car, this weekly rental thing is costing a lot!

Also, any tips or threads on what to do when actually picking up the car, what to look for, how to handle finance, final negotiation and inspection, things like remind them not to install front license plate, etc.?

I've read something about a hold being placed on a number of vehicles around that time frame due to a gas tank issue. It was on these forums, so I'm sure a quick search would turn up additional info. Good luck!

Ugh, thanks for that. Just found the thread. My car has been in quality check for a month and my dealer has no knowledge about that whatsoever.

Now I have to wait for a tbd fix and take delivery of an $80k car with a gas tank issue OR try to place a new order and start the wait over again and also I guess fight about pricing since I read there have been increases?

Wonder if this means in a new order if trailer hitches are available…

Sorry for the news, but at least trailer hitches are available if you choose to reorder. Hopefully your dealer would understand and be willing to work with you on pricing.

Reading some of these posts is depressing.. I ordered my new X6 in early December and was told that I would get a Dec/Jan slot and a January delivery bc my Charlotte dealership was "close" to the SC build facility and gets priority allocations..... Now, January is almost over and I'm told that they will know more about their January allocations by the end of the month... Seems like I am getting the run-around a bit. Giving them until early next week until I cancel and start over with another dealer.

I also ordered my X6 In mid December, and I've had a production number since before Christmas and absolutely no action on it since then, 40iX I am wondering if ordering the Moreno seats sent me back in line or if are holding up the X6 Action until a few weeks in the future

just some info:
1. currently there is no shortage of Merino leather
2. my car was modified from one of the cars in queue for the dealer I'm working with, this is why my timelines seems to be moving

I got the Moreno also but my guess is that I just don't have an allocation spot at all yet. Honestly, I don't really know how this whole process works but certainly feel like I was told that I would know much more by now...
At this point, I would just like to know a projected date.

I have almost the exact same timeline. Mine is 45e, though

12/28/21 - Order submitted
1/19/22 - Scheduled for production

I went through all the steps to get the details. Right now the status is "scheduled for production" with a production number, no VIN yet as expected. When I click XHR/Fetch and find the right forward post, under prod date is says ""

does anyone know what that means?

The people that submitted late December 2021 are lucky to have that fast timeline. I submitted my order mid December 2021 and I only have production number. No vin, and Proddate. Status still in order received. I got the allocation from a small dealer, maybe that is the reason why is moving slow??
