Ask the AD before you bring your own financing. Fact: A central FL AD penalizes folks that bring their own financing from outside BMWF, by tacking another few Townsend dollars to the price of the car; again, this is a confirmed fact.

I got 1.9% on my M50i in Feb. which was the advertised rate when I put my build in Jan. Most other bmw dealers quoted me at 2.9.

I got 2.49 percent last month on my 45e. I went though a broker who connected me with a dealer.

Garage List
It may be obvious but since it hasn't been stated, dealer markups on financing are negotiable.

I think they may be at 1.99 now, I'll just go directly with penfed instead of wasting time fighting the dealers.

Thanks for the info!

Higher than that although you can get a discount up but .80% if you use their car buying service.

Three dealers been telling me 3.99% but the website clearly states 2.99%.

Also is it true that you dont get loyalty if you bring your own financing?

Thanks!
Just tell them you will immediately re-finance it if they don't give you the rate posted on BMW's site. You can still get 2.49% or below if you work with certain credit unions or banks. They will say you have to hold for a certain amount of time to still get loyalty but I have paid off a loan as soon as a week after and never heard a word from the dealer or clawing back the loyalty rebate - did this with both Ford and BMW

The dealer has to pay back incentives when the loan is paid off before three months, not the purchaser.

So they have to pay back the loyalty out of their pockets if i dont stay 3+ months?

I've been asked to let it ride for 3+ months before paying it off so that the dealer gets their kickback. I was happy to do that for them. My personal threshold is around 4% before I start looking at more/all cash on the deal. Though if the market keeps improving I move that percentage higher.

They have to pay back APR Credit incentives but haven't heard for sure about loyalty.
