Week 19 vehicles in QC

Hopefully we see some meaningful movement today! I've already reached out to my broker to secure a new allocation, especially if the auto tailgate delete is now cycled out of the system.

I don't think I could accept a non-touchscreen even if it was delivered now.

I seriously doubt it. I checked recently and its still in QC.

Same here; still at QC. I hate how BMW is keeping us on the dark side. Seeing some of week 19 cars moving, I am hopeful this waiting might end in days.

I agree, but are they really moving? I haven't seen any confirmation that they are besides the PCD's.

Ah, I didn't realize that it was mostly/all PCDs.

Over on the X7 board, it looks like a few week 19s are trickling out there too.

I don't know how they do JIT shipments, but perhaps there is a few extra infotainment units per shipment to account for expected defect rate or bench stock that they're using/releasing to get some of the vehicles moving.

My week 19 moved through and I am not doing a PCD. So some are trickling out. Hope yours moves soon!

My Garage moved from QC to Awaiting Carrier Assignment. I am in the Midwest (Northern Illinois) and my CA says based upon normal transit times I should have the car end of next week, early following week at the latest.

Dealer told me this morning build week 19 delayed because the transportation trucks were not available. I said it can't be it. Then they said it was because of chip shortage.

This is the 2nd car I ordered from BMW over the past 6 months, which is still stuck in QC. Whatever the reason caused the delay is not important any more. I feel like what I ordered is a piece of junk.

My G05 status changed from QC to awaiting for carrier assignment today.

Timeline has been like this:

Feb 16 - Initial order submit to CA. waiting for allocation
(didn't make Feb, march, or april allocation)
April 19 - got May allocation, CA confirmed build spec
(I didn't ask for VIN until May 6)
May 6 - Got vin from CA, status already = 150 (Production Started)
May 11 - status = 155 (QC)
May 28 - status = 182 (Awaiting carrier assignment)

I wonder how much long now.

Week 19 with 5/11 build date has been changed to awaiting carrier assignment today (5/28) finally! It had been more than 2 weeks in QC!

Checked the code and it has 032w, so it should be manual lower tailgate.

Mind if I ask you what date is shown in F12 tracking method? That date is more of date of last status change than production week. So when did status chsnge to QC for you.

Mine is a 45e and non PCD. It is at the dealership now and I am scheduled to pick it up on Wednesday.

I have seen other people on here say it is the main touchscreen that is missing. The replacements must be trickling in and I got lucky to get one put in.
