TPMS malfunction after new winter tire and wheels installed
Hello everyone,
I'm new to the group. I have a 2020 X5 M50i with 20" wheels. Last winter I bought Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires. I had them installed on the OEM wheels. No problems, they worked great in the Michigan winter. No TPMS issues as they were the stock BMW wheels. This year I bought 4 20" aftermarket wheels, same specs as the OEM, to keep the winter tires on so I don't have to replace the tires on the wheels each time I want to change. Wheels are Touren TR94, 20x9, 5x112, 35 offset. I had Discount Tire install new TPMS sensors from their store. They recommended new lug bolts for the aftermarket wheels so I bought those too from their store. Now I am getting TPMS malfunction alert. I did reset the TPMS (many times) but still get this alert. Is this a wheel issue or a TPMS sensor issue? Any advice? Thank you nimans |

When you say you reset the TPMS, what exactly did you do?
