Looking to replace the original front pads on my m50i couple of questions:

1. What pads are people using?
2. My assumption is the F97 x3m uses the same rotors and calipers can anyone confirm?

If number two is correct that opens a few options in terms of front brake pads like Hawk HP+ etc.

The only pad I’ve seen in this forum is the centric pad write up.

Can't answer 2 but along with Centric, I would recommend iSweep, especially if you're trying to reduce dust or squeal. I'm planning to go with iSweep when the time comes for my M50i.

If you peruse through other posts in the brake sub-forum, or use the search function, you will find lots of posts from people that have replaced their pads for exactly the same reasons. I've seen some posts from people saying they like PowerStop as well, although the low cost makes me question the quality.

You may also want to DM Ben at r33_RGSport - he can hook you up with some iSweep IS1500 or IS2000 brake pads, depending on exactly what specs you prefer, that will do exactly what you want.
