Excellent thread guys. I've got an X3m comp that was built in October and still sat at Bremerhaven waiting for a HK Amp, it's ridiculous that literally no one at BMW can provide any sort of eta, be that weeks or months!

Anyway, rant over. Joining here because this seems to be the best place for tracking and vehicle movements for those that are on campaign hold for HK amp retrofit.

At least you have a date even if it's being pushed back. My ETA is still November 2021!

Mine was this until last week lol. Then all of a sudden it was at sea and the expected delivery changed to the 6th of February.

Are you after a 22 plate? If so, what has your dealer said?

I'm in the same 'boat' (excuse the pun) as you guys seem to be in that last update from dealer, which was 2+ weeks ago now, is it's stuck at the port waiting in the RAM update.

I told the dealer that if it arrived before the 1st March I didn't want it registered so it's on the 22 plate. He checked with his manager and confirmed that was fine, they had no issues with my request

Yea I told them I will pick it up the first weekend in March so it is on a 22 plate. He said that wasn't a problem.

Cheers and congrats on the X3m comp! What colour did you go for?

I nearly cancelled my x5 when I heard of the 6 month delay and was tempted by a pre LCI X3 comp, I got tired of the poor comms from the dealership it was at so gave up in the end and decided to wait.

I nearly cancelled my x5 when I heard of the 6 month delay and was tempted by a pre LCI X3 comp, I got tired of the poor comms from the dealership it was at so gave up in the end and decided to wait.

Went for Brooklyn Grey with the midrand beige leather / alcantara interior.

Managed to get hold of the pre lci for a day and loved it after initial adjustment, placed an order for the pre lci before it was announced for a stock car but switched for an lci before taking delivery.

Really can't wait to get hold of this car now.

spoke to SA today, still no updates on mine and they are still all in the dark but he did say that some vehicles in Bremerhaven appear to be going to Hodenhagen about 1.5 hrs away to be fixed (think there is a BMW logistics center there so they are taking on some of the backlog)..anyway seems that once they and leave the port there are further delays getting them back in the shippping system back into the queues in Bremerhaven so this is probably adding to some delays for some people.... my estimated delivery is still in 2 weeks but not hat hopeful at this point!

in fairness, they are frustrated as me just pretty shocking BMW can't provide any accurate info...

Feel your frustration! The release when you know its here though is worth it and excitement sets back in!

Have you tried going through BMW Genius? It was alot easier to get a status update out of them in my experience.

Cheers yes been in regular touch with them too generally alternate between them and the dealer!

Cheers! Can't wait to get it. Waiting until March as I am up and down the country with work this month so it made sense to wait, and it will be a 22 plate also.

For those interested week 43 build finished production 20th October.

Air suspension confirmed and there is no sign of the 6UY code saying touchscreen is deleted. I have asked the SA to confirm touchscreen when he can but it looks promising with the code not being there.

Car looks great. Same colour combo, wheels and trims as mine - whenever I finally get it (still no further updates).

This is exactly why I'm here! 😁

It's awful that BMW can't provide any updates as to the current situation, delays I can cope with while frustrating, but just completely ghosting us on what is a very expensive purchase is just not acceptable. As with others, the dealer is in the dark as much as I am.

Mine is all clear now, It previously had 2 outstanding. I see you got air suspension button next to the gear stick! Thats a result!

Yep! Dealer confirmed air suspension is there!

Hopefully yours isn't to far away now.
