Does anybody have any good experience with good quality carbon fiber mirrors from eBay not even a year it seems like the passenger side is cracked fitment was perfect and I paid a good amount for the pair

Are those overlays, or full on replacement caps?

Honestly, unless you're dead set on the wing mirrors, I'd just have them.wrapped with a CF vinyl.

That probably is the easiest/cheapest/best solution for most people that want this look, but it would drive me nuts to know that I paid money to technically add weight to the vehicle so that it looks like it has lighter parts.

These are not overlays full mirror caps The only reason why I purchased them was because the vendor had very good reviews. It could also be the cold weather here in Canada. I’ve had many aftermarket ones on my F15as wellAnd never had this happen, trying to contact the vendor to see if he can replace them for me

Yeah, I totally get that too, lol. At least a vinyl weighs less than one of those plastic backed overlays, haha.

I’m not sure I understand. aren’t the OEM mirror cap plastic these are the exact same weight guys and it’s not really a race car. Cars over 5000 pounds two extra pounds ain’t gonna hurt it lol. Yes, it can be wrapped, but I prefer having the winglets.
