After calling the BMW executive team everyday trying to figure out why my production was delayed from week 1 to week 6 and then to “order received”, and giving them an ultimatum that I would cancel my order, they put my car into production begin stage. I was serious about canceling order with current dealer.

Not sure if I should get excited about it. I’ve seen many people stuck at production begin stage for weeks. Moreover, I had started shopping at other dealers who were giving me Invoice - 1000 for week 6 allocation. That’s tempting for sure.

Any thoughts?
