Cellular provider on a 2021?
I have a microcell in my home. This essentially acts like a cellular tower and connects to your local internet rather than to your closest actual cell tower. It can give you better cellular coverage in your home, and if you don't have an unlimited plan, doesn't count on your plans available minutes.
You can register up to 10 phone numbers with it that it will allow to connect, so you aren't providing service to strangers and potentially using more of your ISP bandwidth. Anyway, this one is from AT&T, so will only work with AT&T phones. My garage doesn't have the greatest cellular coverage. So, the question is, who is the cellular service provider BMW used for the 2021 X5's? It would potentially allow for a much stronger cellular connection while in my garage if it's AT&T. |

Well, I tried to add the number to the microcell, and I get an error message saying invalid number, so I guess this is a bust...whether it's an AT&T based account or not. Oh well, it was worth a shot!

Mine is a 2020 model and the provider is AT&T. It seems like BMW has switched to T-Mobile though. If you want to make sure, try to get your trial period activated here to check if it’s t-mobile or not;
