According to ynguldyn, X5 LCI won't happen until 04/23.
X7 LCI will start in 08/22 however.

That'd be interesting for the G05 LCI to start mid-way through MY2023.

Agreed. Wonder if it will be an early start to MY24? Also interesting that G05 is getting an 8 year run according to ynguldyn. EOP 7/26.

What is all this nonsense about people saying an LCI is coming this year?

BMW have had a 7 year production cycle (84 months) on most cars (notable exception was the F15) for ages now and an LCI is almost always been right in the middle of that + 6 months

Examples:

G30 - November 2016 - LCI May 2020 - 42 months
F30 - October 2011 - LCI May 2015 - 43 Months
G11 - July 2015 - LCI January 2019 - 42 months
G01 - August 2017 - LCI August 2021 - 48 Months

The G05 won't get a facelift until between June and December 2022 as 23 Model Years

All information has been that the G05 and G07 will be getting LCI's in MY2023. However, since vehicle spy shots started showing up in 2020, which seems rather early for MY2023, many have wondered if the LCI has been moved up.

It is still scheduled to begin production 4/23. As an aside, your SA is likely wrong and MY23 will begin in August like it has been.
