MSport w/22" most likely for us
Despite just adding our X3 M40i to our stable a few months ago (Jan), my wife and I really like what they did with the G05. I knew this would happen coming from the F15 MSport and E70 MSport before that. However, this will depend on the OTD pricing on how we would custom, allocations, incentives, and how bad of a beating we'll take on the M40i.

Not yet sure. Lease expires on my F15 in December. Depends on how its priced. Was equally willing to consider the X3 M40i but now that I gather the engine is getting a 30hp power bump next year I'm torn. Who knows, may pick up someones lease with 18 months or less and wait till 2020 to get into something brand new.

I'm considering ordering, but unsure of something. Some options state not available until 12/2018. Does that mean you can't place an order for these options until 12/2018, or it won't be delivered before 12/2018? Specifically interested in 3rd row and RSE.

I suspect that means manufacturing of vehicles with those options starts 12/18.

My current X5 lease expires mid-November. I’m assuming if I order a new X5 (and I need the hybrid) that dealerships have some flexibility on timing for turn-ins — that is, extending the current lease to accommodate the new build. Does anyone have real world experience with this? Can my current lease be extended for a couple/few months? Can I effectively rent a loaner car for that long? Or something else?
For me it may be more than just a couple weeks’ gap between end-of-lease and when the new X5 is available as there are indications the hybrid will not be among the first X5’s to roll out of Spartanburg. Thanks in advance.

I have extended 2 leases (1 a BMW) for 2-3 months without a problem. Usually the dealers are happy to get extra full price monthly payments for a 3 year old car.

So my CA was promoted to sales manager since I purchased the g01 in December . We are waiting for a modifiable allocation since the HEA cars are now locked.
I'm drooling over the g05 but realistically the numbers on my X3 are probably going to be rough. Alpine white / mocha if anyone reading is interested . |

Curious the OTD price for how I would custom, allocations, incentives, and how bad an offer for my M40i before pulling the trigger

You'd be running a risk that far out unless you can confirm the specific allocation / production week upfront. Again I'm speculating. Who knows, new model demand may result in longer lead times from ordering to delivery. If it was me and I wanted to be sure though, I'd order in late November. Another possible strategy may be to order early and opt for PCD in early January. My understanding is that they manufacture as close as possible to delivery date.

2015 X5d lease is up this November. I am still waiting for information and confirmation of the next generation diesel. Otherwise I am jumping ship... Cannot live without diesel for this SUV especially when I am getting 30 mpg on highways. The next generation Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid is something I am considering.
