Love the Tanzanite Blue but I am not a fan of the two-tone leather seats.

PM sent.

Though some international BMW markets have taken some liberties with their marketing materials (looking at you Spain), "CS" actually stands for "Clubsport" in BMW vernacular, leaving the "Competition" moniker to represent a stand-alone model; in addition to the completely separate Coupé Sport Leichtbau (Lightweight) "CSL" moniker.

I had a body shop install the side reflectors for my F85, with the added parts to be removed for the F95, back to the body shop to install. The F93 was very easy to DIY install the side reflectors.

Never understood that also.
For that there are options like M5, 750/760, 8..

Because the gap is TOO big, is why

I've got an X5 40i, the gap is fine

Not trying to "eliminate" the gap, just trying to have it at an aesthetically acceptable level, while not altering the driving dynamics

Pretty sure this isn't an unusual desire from SUV owners, and it certainly isn't a big enough issue to NOT buy the X5m, which is why i bought it ... but that's not to say that there isn't anything that can't be improved on

I agree with this. I finally picked mine up last week and I’m really pleased with it. The ride is exactly what I hoped for - not too floaty and not too rigid. All of that said, I would prefer the gap be a little smaller. It’s certainly nothing I’m losing sleep over, but it would look a little cooler if it sat an inch lower.

Great pics ... this is exactly my niggle (to be fair, it's no more than a niggle - i'm not trying to convert an X5M into an M5!) - the X5 40i in Sport Plus mode has a similar gap to the white X5 above and is fine ... whereas the X5M is juts that inch or so higher than "acceptable"

if my wife knew i had posted this she would raise her eyebrows at the ridiculous level of fussiness!!

This is funny but true. And most women will obsess about their shirt that’s just a little too baggy around the midriff. To each his own...

The white X5 Picture looks good and the black X5M is Ridiculous. No one is taking their X5M off road and especially with those rubber band tires. Make it all the way sporty or not at all but don’t half-ass the design. The Italians figured it out with the Lamborghini Urus.

100% agree! strange how just an inch makes all the difference ... again, my wife would laugh out loud at that comment, and say "too true"!!

(so glad i picked a user name that Mrs 155ND would never guess!!)

Ty for pics.

Well I am maybe an alien but the x5m looks cooler and sportier with the gaps.. ye I wrote it like that, the bigger gaps seems more sporty to me.

Idk why but I can feel the natural style of the x5m by that and it also increases the aggresive feeling from this car.

The 50d with lowered susp seems "hey I am just acting like a sports car but I am not".

Its subjective and mb some of you hate it but as I seen that now on pics.. I really LOVE gaps on the x5m 🤔
