MSport Front Wheels Brake Caliper vs Rear Wheels

I just noticed the MSport Front Wheels Brake Calipers are bigger than the rear wheels brake calipers. Are there specific reasons for that? That just seems a little odd to me. I would think that all 4 brake calipers would be the exact same size given that this is an x-drive.
Any insights would be appreciated.

I didnt read the article, but on just about any car in the world, your front brakes do 75% of the work. Consequently, you'll replace the front pads 2-3 times before you'll ever need to do the rears.

And, yes, they are always larger.

That and much more of the practical baseline knowledge on car braking systems is what the article details, hence why I posted it :-).
