Well, as we speak, I am having mine done by Xtreme Auto Details @ 23585 Overland Dr #124, Sterling, VA. I am having the whole front PPT, door cups, small strip back gate, step area and ceramic coating. Xpel Ultimate Fusion PPF and Xpel Fusion Plus ceramic coating. American Shine Detailing, also located in Sterling, VA, has done all the PPF/Ceramic Coating on my vehicles and get my recommendation. They do a lot of high end vehicles and you can check out their IG under the same name.

I first met Brian Lewis (owner) back in the M3forum days when he was detailing local members cars and he's always been a standup guy that does fantastic work.

For the PPE, Im thinking about just clear bra on the hood. Did you have to leave it there overnight?
I also need window tint but Im looking for a reputable shop that uses pre cut tint, don't want them to cut the tint on the window.

I've had 3 vehicles tinted by LA Tint in Manassas, but how they do it is a great question. I have never asked.

Yep, Ive used them before and they did a good job. They wanted to keep the car over night for the PPE and Im not ready for that yet! LOL

Ha, well done PPF (assume that's what you meant), takes time. Even brand new vehicles need some sort of paint prep, then depends on what you needs done, will take some time. For the Paint Protection Film, on my 2023, which I did back in Jan to Xtreme Auto Detail a few days to get it done.

Also highly recommend American Shine, his team is great, I have used other detailers in the area and my experience has not been good. I’m not sure if they offer Xpel, not many are authorized dealers for them, make sure if someone is going to install Xpel they are listed as a dealer on their site.

For Tint I always go to LA Tint in Manassas since I can get 30% all around and their film (Pinnacle series) is really good.
