So is the standard dash the sensafin one? And they just choose to market it as of it's an upgrade? If so, that implies it's also wrapped with sheets of sensafin and could peel up the same as the leather dash. Weird.
Either way, it still feels like a coated nappa leather, so I don't know that I would waste my time with any sort of leather conditioner. |

Looks like when the windshield was replaced someone fucked up, pure especulation, but I wonder if someone actually caused the glue to come undone in the process.
These leather dashboards if not kept well moist and protected in hot sunny environments will shrink. Happens to a lot of them in many brands. Key is to use UV protectant leather creams and use a sunshade as often as possible to reflect those UVs when the car is stationary under the sun. Did you actually buy this car with this condition, from a dealer and did not have them fix it for you? |

All modern windshields have UV protection in them...I don't think it's the UV but being a Florida car, I suppose it's just the sheer heat one get's if non garaged. Tension/Shrink from the substrate. I don't think conditioner would have mitigated it...it' just heat
I am mindful to throw up a shade if we someplace and the car will be parked for hours long end outside during the warmer months. |

Looks like this could be repaired easier if they removed the windshield and have a upholstery shop do it rather than replacing the entire dash assuming they can fix it in sections (outer part closest to the glass)
