I'd give it another go, or just launch with DSC off (there will be no message) but it's faster in my experience. Do you have a Draggy?

You should get a Draggy They're pretty reasonable and very accurate. I find testing random cars (loaners too) fun. A 2018 X5 S Drive 35i I had was super slow at 7.8s lol

I am a hardcore hunter and outdoorsman. I use it to get in and out of remote places. I also pull a 21" ski boat. I have a vehicle for every purpose. I am rural and have always liked trucks for everyday use. I am 40 miles from main PSU campus. You know how remote the area can be. Big mountains and in the winter you want all the truck you can have. My X5 is my family trip car and my luxury ride. 911 is the sports car, etc...

The device itself is magnetic so I just stick it on the speaker in the center of the dash board, but it also comes with an adhesive backing that has magnetic material on the other side so you put the adhesive backing wherever you want and then the device will attach to the magnetic side.

Why aren't people reporting 1/4-mile times?
FWIW, using TrackAddict with the iPhone X GPS I managed a 4.5s 0-60, 10.9s 0-100, and a 12.2 1/4 mile. |

Noticed this in the N63 tech docs for our engine. It can make more power using launch control, too bad LC so far has been worse than DSC off

Do you happen to know if the 40i engine also does the overboost during launch control?
That could explain the difference in 0-60 times for me of 5.2 seconds with LC vs 5.8/6.0 seconds without LC. |

I cannot find the technical docs for the B58B30M1 engine to verify. From the B58's I've seen, there is no overboost.

I'm skeptical because the F85 X5M would run a 12.2s 1/4

Like I said, that was my iPhone GPS, I don't have anything more accurate.
The acceleration, even from 80 on up to 120-130 is just crazy strong though. |

That's alright man, I'll test on a track out here once I find one. Yeah tell me about it, the N63M has a lot of power on tap
