Steering Wheel Jog Wheel Not working?

Looks like the jog wheel on the steering wheel just stopped working. It doesn't scroll through or perform any action. None of the music options popup on the HUD.

Is there a setting that disables the jog wheel? Or has the wheel died on me?

All of the other buttons seem to be working. Just not the jog/scroll wheel

I never heard of deactivating the Jog wheel. Try holding the power/volume button down for 30 seconds. Thats fixed a few other iDrive gremlins in the forum.

That happened to me once when it was really really cold out. Just reboot iDrive and everything was normal again.

Same here. Never happened until I ended up on .49, but rebooting iDrive is the fix.

Made a bad assumption that powering off the car several times would reboot
iDrice automatically. Even saw the BMW logo fade out but that didn’t seem to do the trick. Seems you just need to do the volume button reset for it to really reboot
