BMW X5 G05 40i MPPSK

After a long hunt I finally landed a deal from a dealership to install the MPPSK (M Performance Power & Sound Kit) on my 2021 X5 sDrive40i. The part number 18-30-2-458-780 is labeled M performance exhaust but they should install the tune with it as well (Extra ~35HP and more pops and burbles in shifting and overrun). I got a sweet deal so I will be posting further once i get it installed on the car.

I'm interested in this but so far it doesn't look to be available in the U.K.

I had my dealer install the M Performance Exhaust on my 40i before I took delivery last Saturday. So far, I freaking love it!

That's awesome. This is exactly what we've been looking for. Can you tell is about your "sweet deal" please. Curious to see what the dealers come up with. I'm interested in this big-time

Sadly I think OPF rules will mean it's not going to come to the UK at all. Such a shame.

Sweet deal is instead of list price $3,4xx I got it for $2,790 including the tune + 1.5 hr labor

Would you mind posting sounds? I'm still waiting on part to come in but I am debating wether I should get a downpipe on top of the MPPSK or not 😬

Unfortunately looking into the dealer documents it has a fine print stating it's only for G05/G06 US & Canada

BUT! Forza Performance Group pretty much has the same exhaust around the same price and comes with a remote controlled valve or can be hooked up to the existing exhaust valve. What made me go with the MPPSK is the BMW tune on top of it. Relieves me from "warranty" headaches.

Any tricks to talk the SA out of that ???

I went to the service center last month and did ask about the m performance exhaust, parts plus labor plus tax is somewhere around $4500 for my 40i. If I can get down to the price that u got, I wouldn't think twice !!!!!

NY here as well, email the SA and waiting on response. Ima give them a call tmr as well. If I got anything, I'll keep you guys posted. Finger crossed.

Edit: Called my SA but he was unable to give me a pricing/quote over the phone because he said he doesn't want to misquote me or anything. He also mention about possible changes on the warranty. I'm not too sure about that because this is the reason why I'm doing at the BMW so everything is official (it is possible ?). I have appt. coming up on the 06/19 so let see how that goes.

If you guys have any update, let me know.

So my dealer has 1 exhaust with the part number OP posted but he doesn't see anything about a tune.

Ashahin do you know if the tune instructions were included in the box or something? Like where would my SA find details about the tune? He looked and isn't seeing anything about a tune.
