5000 mile / 6 month report

Thought I'd let you know how things are going

Like's

It sure is quick for a big SUV - I've recently done a timed 0-60 with launch control (only the once) - 5.64 secs
Economy is surprsingley good - best to date - 49mpg on a long run using cruise control the majority of the time - 25.8mpg towing a 1800kg caravan again using cruise control as much as I could (I don't drive with economy in mind)
Auto coasting function works great - took a little getting used to TBH but love it now
Feels no bigger driving than the G01 X3 did, however I am under no illusion its big mutha
Self leveliing 2 axle air suspension is a fab bit of kit
Exterior colour & interior colour still getting plenty of positive comments
When you exit the car I like the way the electrically operated steering wheel gets out of the way, lifting to the highest setting
Sound system is a huge step up from the X3
Effortless tow car
Storage under the load floor is immense
High beam assist kept me amused on a long trip back from Cornwall during the night - never had a car with that before

Not sure's

22" wheels make the ride quite firm but stays in the 'Not sure's' as the air suspension helps this - oh & they are a right PITA to clean - & yes it still brings me out in a cold sweat the replacement cost of those rear tyres
Not a fan of stop/start but seem to be living with it better than I thought
Electrically operated front headrests - Whats that all about?

Dislike's

Takes an eternity to clean so maybe doesn't get cleaned as much as it should

-

6 litres of AdBlue used in 5000 miles which is slightly more than the X3 used but to be expected TBH

Since 'finding' Koch Chemie FSE my issues with hard water where I live are a little easier to live with

Thanks for reading

It doesn't get any smaller to clean, espcially living in a hard water area

Don't know what I would do without KC FSE TBH
