Decided to make a thread cause this colour seems to be quite rare.

Long story short my 2020 X5 40i’s lease was ending next year and it was either I lease a 2024 model for approximately $500 more a month or lease this 2023 model off the lot for approximately $300 less a month then what i was paying on my 2020 model. I decided to save $300 a month and take this 2023 40i in Ametrin Metallic.

Ametrin Metallic wouldn’t have been my first choice but I still quite like the colour, I love how the colour changes depending on the lighting. Definitely unique

Edit* my wife only likes the colour when not directly in the light hahaha, not in direct light its more a cool darker purpleish blsck colour and in direct light its a tad maroonish, and she’s not a fan of the maroonish haha

Ametrin Metallic is a interesting color. I'm playing with a X5 xDrive40i next year if the 5 Touring in not to my liking (too electric or too expensive). The photo of this color go from magenta, to black to brown. I really would like to see one in person. Brooklyn Grey Metallic is the alternative.

Yeah it’s a very cool colour, changed depending on the lighting, definitely very unique
