If you want the black kidney grille your dealer should be able to swap it out for you for a few hundred dollars. I considered it but ultimately just paid for the pro package.

If you want to get blue points in the headlight with black grill, that is only option. I was considering going that route before ordering.

I went with Pro...

But if I do it again then I will not order Pro but change the grill with Carbon fiber one and put M sport Brake option separately.
(But this route is more expansive or you can just get cheap back grill then it will be similar).
You will loose Illuminated Grill if you follow this route but I think Illuminated Grill is not worth it.

I have 50e so I am not putting sport exhausts in a decision making.

What can (IMHO) really ruin the look of the X5 is a dark paint color and silver trim. This particular one in black saphire metallic did not have the black exterior contents package. It also has the most expensive 22 inch silver rims. Silver is too much of a contrast against black. For a lighter color like skyscraper grey it's not so bad I think.

I think it's terrible looking, but I may still buy it because I can't find anything else comparable. The trim can be wrapped or replaced.

Rob, in person the wife and I agree with you on the silver and that’s why we’re going with the black exterior package. Did you buy the one you pictured
