Picked up my Dravit Grey X5 today. Sorry for not being a better photographer.

With the BG X5, did you find the 741M finish complimented the exterior color, or was it too washed out, if that make sense? I prefer a machined and black accent wheel, like the 741M option for the M60i

Bumping this up .. any more recent deliveries of Dravit LCIs?

And how are you Dravit owners finding it over time? Is it a swirl magnet like other dark colors, or does the gold metallic flake make it lower maintenance?

Heres my 2cents but full disclosure we havnt taken order of our x5 yet still got a month or so to wait but the wife and i went back and forth on Dravit vs Brooklyn.

Dravit has the gold metallic flake and looks dam good when its clean. First time we saw the Dravit color was on the new XM suv on the show room floor and that thing was super clean they rolled it off the showroom floor and put it outside in the direct sun and it popped and showed all the different colors and gold that pops at different angles. So we placed our order and picked the Dravit color.

The next day we found out a different BMW dealership had the exact suv we specced to build a x5 50e PHEV (which we never got to actually test the 50e so we just wanted to confirm we made the right choice) The x5 50e was also in the dravit color it was just on the lot and was dirty due to a recent snow storm and it just didnt have the same pop when it looked clean. When it was dirty it also hid the lines and curves of the car plus all the black msport appearance package pieces all blended in and didnt really stand out.

Long story short we changed our color pick to brooklyn. Our car will be parked outside of our garage the majority of the time bc we have to many toys. The brooklyn color still looks good clean and dirty and all the black trim parts pop more and shows the lines of the car off more imo. Dravit is still a rad color and you probably wont see that color option very often on the road.

You should go see the colors in person even if the color is on a sedan or different model to give yourself an idea.

I saw a couple Dravit G80s at a C&C last week and they looked incredible. Granted, they were clean, but what a gorgeous color! Would pair nicely with Cognac or Coffee interior. Not too worried about how it looks when dirty, but worried it's hard to maintain (swirl free) like black.
