Changing synthetic trans fluid every 10k?!?? LOL.

You should totally siphon out your excess gas every night and replace it with a fresh supply too.

Who said anything about changing it every 10K, jackass? I'm at ~20K and will consider this my break-in change. After this I only plan to do it every 20K. Go fly a kite.

Uhhhhhhh...you did?

But yeah, every 20k would be nearly equally silly, so it doesn't really matter.

Now, where's my kite...?

Did you not read the thread though? Did I not say "inspect" the fluid and change every 10K if neccessary? Then later down in the thread after finding out the fluid is synthetic I said this:

I think maybe your kite is next to your reading glasses...

Back on topic... shifting gears feels like I'm going through oatmeal and is markedly different than when the car was new. There is no doubt at all in my mind that a fluid change would help make the shifts crisper. Regardless of the fact that the synthetic fluid filled at the factory is likely still "good" and protecting the transmission, a fluid change would only benefit.
